Bio

Dustin Palmer is an organized Purchasing Manager and Construction Professional, with 15 years of experience in logistics, distribution, and Construction.  He is skilled in inventory management, budget
development, and procurement, and possesses exceptional multitasking and time management abilities. Dustin is a systematic and logical professional who excels in software management, including knowledge
of ERP, DDI Inform, Quickbooks Enterprises, and various purchasing software programs. He is adept at SOP writing, performance monitoring, optimization, project management, and technical troubleshooting.


Previously serving as the Purchasing Manager at Fusion Light And Design in Denver, CO since January 2022, Dustin managed the sourcing and procurement of a $10 million active inventory. He has successfully sourced new vendors, built strong relationships through effective communication and negotiation, and determined the most cost-effective purchasing options by obtaining quotes from
various suppliers. Dustin was also responsible for maintaining necessary inventory levels, negotiating contracts with outside providers to minimize costs, and improving inventory turns and cycle count accuracy through strategic buying methods. Additionally, he represented the company in contract
negotiations and policy formulation with suppliers, ensuring clear and safe cross-functional operations by collaborating with different teams.


Prior to his role at Fusion Light And Design, Dustin worked as a Journeyman Ironworker at Wood Group DBA Swaggart Bros Inc. in Hermiston, OR from April 2016 to April 2019. He gained valuable experience
in studying blueprints, understanding specifications, and managing materials and supplies for projects, while providing leadership, mentoring, and insights to newly hired employees.


Dustin’s previous experience includes serving as a Sales Manager for Kaiser Garage Doors & Gates, Inc. in Tempe, Arizona from May 2011 to March 2016. He successfully managed commercial and residential sales operations, overseeing accounts across two states and three locations. Dustin achieved an annual budget increase of 0.35% based on the previous year's sales, implemented training programs for staff growth, co-developed business models and target markets, and maintained a sales environment that
supported business objectives. He also received recognition for achieving the top store in the region by sales volume and margin growth in 2010 and 2011.


Throughout his career, Dustin has exhibited strong leadership skills, excellent judgment, and decision-making abilities. He has effectively communicated company directives and programs to associates, conducted team meetings and coaching sessions, and ensured operational standards were met. Dustin
has a proven track record of achieving business objectives, maintaining inventory control, and delivering exceptional results.
